2. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how PortaMi collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use the PortaMi mobile application (iOS/Android) and related services (APIs, backend, and support).

We collect the following categories of personal data, depending on how you use the app.
3.1 Data you provide
- Account information: email address and authentication identifiers (e.g., user ID).
- User content and preferences: favorites, collections, saved places, dietary preferences, and similar in-app settings.
- Support communications: messages you send to us and any information you include.
3.2 Data collected automatically
- Device and app data: device model, OS version, app version, language, time zone, and technical identifiers.
- Log data: IP address (typically visible to backend services), timestamps, error logs, and diagnostic information.
- Usage data: features used and in-app interactions (if analytics are enabled).
3.3 Location data
If you enable location permissions, we may process:
- Approximate location, and/or
- Precise location (GPS), only if you grant permission in your device settings.
You can disable location permissions at any time in your device settings; some features may not work properly without it.

- Provide and operate the app (account access, core features, saving favorites/collections).
- Deliver location-based features when enabled.
- Maintain security and prevent abuse (fraud prevention, service integrity).
- Improve reliability and performance (debugging, crash investigation, product improvements).

- Comply with legal obligations where applicable.

Where applicable, we rely on:
- Contract necessity: to provide the app and requested features.

We do not sell your personal data.

The mobile app does not use "cookies" in the browser sense, but it may use SDKs that generate identifiers and log events (for example, analytics or crash reporting). We only enable optional analytics where appropriate and provide opt-out mechanisms where feasible.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Children
PortaMi is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data, contact privacy@portami.app and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. If changes are material, we will provide an additional notice in the app where appropriate.
